The college application process is a process in which students fill out many different applications to various colleges and universities. Our job is to help students select the best fit college/university. We take a look at the whole student and help students complete their applications in a timely, and organized manner.
Financial aid is money given to students. The aid is based on need and/or merit. There are many different types of aid. There are scholarships, grants, loans, work study, military aid, ROTC scholarships and tuition saving plans. We will work with you to maximize the amount of aid available to you. Each student is unique and each situation is unique and we tailor our support to match the student and the situation.

Different types of College:
Public College are funded by local and state governments. The tuition is usually lower than a private college especially to students who live in the state.
Private Colleges are non government funded colleges and rely on tuition to cover the cost. Private college also can receive private donations which allow them to offer students generous financial aid packages.
For Profit Colleges usually offer career training, although many offer a wide variety of majors. The cost is usually high and sometimes other colleges and universities do not accept their credits.
Community College is a two year college. Students can graduate with an Associate’s Degree. However they do offer programs that can be completed in under two years. Studentc can receive technical or vocational training at a two year school.
Liberal Arts College offer liberal arts courses. They prepare students for graduate school and/or careers.
Universities are larger schools that offer many types of academic majors and degree options. Students can earn a bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Many universities contain several smaller colleges, such as colleges of education, engineering, or health sciences.
Vocational-technical and career colleges offer specialized training in a particular industry or career, ex. HVAC, culinary arts, dental hygiene, radiology and electrician to name a few. Students earn certificates or associate degree programs.

Parents play a critical role in supporting their child through the college application process. It is often a stressful time in a child’s life and parents can help their child manage the stress by being a good listener. Also, parents can help by keeping their child orgranized. Organization is critical to managing the application process all four years. Students will need their parents’ financial information to determine a student’s financial aid eligibility, especially for the first year of college. Parents can also provide support by visiting colleges with their child. Parents should allow their child to take as much ownership over the college application process as possible. Support your child as much as possible but allow your child to do the work.
Cancellation policy: All fees are due prior to services being rendered. Cancellation policy must be in writing 24 hrs prior to appointment in order to avoid a $25.00 cancellation fee. If cancellation notice is received 24 hrs prior to appointment, clients will receive a 50% refund.
